A new line of subcompact utility tractors from John Deere will handle the utility chores around the farm yard and home. The new 1 Series from Deere includes the 1023E and 1026R tractors. The 1023E with 23.5 hp and the 1026R with 25.3 hp are equipped with Deere’s AutoConnect that allows operators to drive over the top of a mowing deck to attach. Both models also are compatible with Deere’s iMatch AutoHitch technology, which allows the operator to attach and detach 3-pt.-hitch implements without leaving the tractor seat. Implements available that work with these new tractors range from a front mower and deck mower to a rotary tiller, backhoe and snow plow. The tractors feature a wide stance and standard folding ROPS system.
Other features of the 1026R include a deluxe lighting system, cruise control, tilt steering, 12-volt outlet and position control 3-pt. hitch. Suggested retail price is $12,595. Suggested retail price of the 1023E is $11,296.
