All-terrain diesel

The new Kawasaki Mule 3010 Diesel combines popular features of the gasoline-powered Mule 3010 with a diesel engine.

The powerplant of the new utility vehicle is a liquid-cooled, 953cc, 3-cyl. diesel engine. The engine is matched to the Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System that features a 2-mm-thicker drive belt and revised cog shape for improved durability. When the operator chooses to be in 4-wd operation, a two-speed transfer case offers a lower gear ratio for extra pulling.

The Mule 3010 Diesel can carry up to 1,100 lbs. in its steel cargo bed and can tow up to 1,200 lbs. It has a suggested retail price of $9,999 and comes standard with a 12-month, unlimited mileage warranty that can be extended up to three years.

Contact Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA, Dept. FIN, Box 25252, Santa Ana, CA 92799-5252, 800/661-7433, visit www.Kawasaki.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 186.

Level the driveway

The Driveway Scraper from Wingfield Distributors helps level gravel driveways and other surfaces by removing the washboard effect without creating dips or swells. The front blades cut down high spots in the surface, while moving material to the wings. The wings catch material and channel it across a full 8-ft.-wide area, filling in any low spots.

The scraper will fit Cat. I or II 3-pt. hitches. The steel blades on the front and back of the scraper are ½ in. thick and reversible. A “ski-nose” front on the scraper helps prevent nose-diving into soft material when the unit is in the “float” setting.

Price: $850. Contact Wingfield Distributors Inc, Dept. FIN, 4712 N. Cunningham Ave., Urbana, IL 61802, 800/637-6712, visit www.wingfields.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 185.

Tension control

Keep the pickup box cover tight in all sorts of weather with the EZ-Dial XT direct tension control system. The system comes standard in all Access Roll-up Tonneau Covers from Agri-Cover. Fine-tune cover tension in seconds by turning the X-Dial. No tools are needed to adjust tension, and the system has no moving parts to wear out or fail.

Price: $46 for a complete kit with everything necessary to install the dial adjuster. Contact Agri-Cover Inc., Dept. FIN, Box 508, Jamestown, ND 58402-0508, 800/233-4655, visit www.accesscover.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 184.

Improved trailer clearance

The PopUp Short Bed Extended Coupler provides 9 in. of extra clearance between the truck and trailer to allow more room for hook-up and more trailer swing. The coupler is rated at 5,000 lbs. gross tongue weight and 25,000 lbs. gross trailer weight. It fits standard round trailer tubes and can be installed in about 30 min.

Price: $249. Contact PopUp Industries Inc., Dept. FIN, Box 663, Chanute, KS 66720, 877/339-5704, visit www.popuphitch.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 183.
