Stop underbody corrosion

Portable charging

The new model 9090 portable battery charger from Associated Equipment provides 100 amps of starting assistance. The 6- and 12v charger is automatic, turning off at full charge and back on if the battery needs more charging. A green light indicates a complete charge; a red light means the battery is not charged. The portable charger also features a deep-cycle feature. Price: $139.

The company also offers new wheeled chargers. Its top-of-the-line model 6021 provides a 50-amp charging rate and 400-amp boost rating. It features a built-in 125-amp fixed load tester, which allows the driver to check the battery's condition while in the vehicle when the clamps are attached to the battery for recharging.
