Makita 18v cordless fan
Makita’s new 18v LXT lithium-ion cordless fan would be a great addition to any shop. With both high and low settings, the fan provides 1,700 RPM and 1,200 RPM respectively. The battery-powered unit offers up to 3 hours of runtime and can be powered by Makita’s 14.4v – 18v batteries or an AC adapter. The fan comes with an automatic timer that can be set to turn the unit off and has a 45 degree adjustable platform. The fan is extremely portable with its slim, lightweight design (5-in. wide and 5.7 lbs.), a large carrying handle and no cords to worry about.

DeWalt small angle grinder
At only 4.5 in. wide, DeWalt’s new small angle grinder is ideal for working in tight spaces. It has a 7 amp 12,000 RPM motor that runs at low temperatures. The grinder guard can be adjusted by the operator with one hand and without hardware, allowing the operator to position the guard to any of the eight detents quickly.

Hilti compact rotary hammer
Hilti has pulled the plug on rotary hammers with its new compact, cordless version. According to Hilti, the TE 2-A18 compact rotary hammer is the first compact SDS plus tool on the market that drills like a corded tool. The unit offers 1.3 ft. lbs of torque and weights only 5.2 lbs. The unit works great for drilling anchor holes in concrete, brick or block and has an optimal drilling diameter range of 3/16 in to 3/8 in. It also includes a LED light to illuminate the work surface and a drop-resistant housing to protect the tool.

Milwaukee 2-speed screwdriver
Weighing only 1 lb., Milwaukee’s new M4 screwdriver provides power in a small size. The unit has 44 in. lbs. of torque and two speeds: 200 and 600 RPM. Milwaukee claims the screwdriver can drill more than 200 holes per charge with its Red Lithium 2.0 battery. It also features a 21-position clutch with auto shut-off and a 1/4 in. quick-change chuck.
