Yetter Manufacturing Company acquires Mississippi implement manufacturer

Yetter Manufacturing Company announced that it acquired the assets of Amco Manufacturing, Inc., located in Yazoo City, MS, on July 11, 2011.  
 
Amco, founded in 1947, produces a wide range of primary tillage implements and farm equipment for the agricultural, wildlife, forest and construction industries. Amco products are sold and serviced by 300 dealers across North America.
 
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Yetter, Amco Manufacturing will continue to be based in Yazoo City and will operate as a separate company under its current management team.
 
“Yetter is planning additional investments in Amco, including improvements in manufacturing capabilities for current and future product lines,” said Pat Whalen, Yetter Manufacturing shareholder.
