VTPlus vertical tillage system from Landoll

A new vertical tillage system from Landoll can help growers who have struggled with a late harvest and wet soils. The new VTPlus tillage system is equipped with two gangs of ultralow concavity blades that are smooth for working in wet ground. The blades are spaced on 7-in. centers and angled 10° to mix soil and residue. A shallow working depth combined with the mixing will create a warm seedbed with residue that's been cut and the ground leveled. Units are available in 23- to 33-ft. widths. Prices range from $50,800 to $72,100. Call Landoll at 785/738-6613 or visit www.landoll.com.
