Tuned for strip-till

More About:

Custom Strip-Tilling has become big business for the Elburn Co-op, Sycamore, IL. Since first offering the service in the fall of 2005, the co-op's business has grown to more than 10,000 acres. The goal is to build a strip that's as good as fall plowing with fertilizer banded 6 to 7 in. deep. The co-op uses this 16-row DMI applicator coupled with a John Deere air cart for dry fertilizer and two, 1,500-gal. anhydrous tanks to band N-P-K using VRT and RTK guidance.
