Mitas reports 2012 as record year for North American ag tire sales

"Mitas’ 2012 sales in North America were the best ever,” said Pavel Charvat, president of Mitas Tires North America. “The North American operations represent 10% of all Mitas’ sales.” Mitas reached total worldwide 2012 sales of $592 million (USD). “Mitas brings tire manufacturing closer to the farmer,” Charvat added.

Those stalks have also led to increased complaints about more flats and damage to tires. Titan Tire manufacturing personnel discussed what their company is doing to address the issue during a company media briefing in Des Moines, Iowa. Titan’s Scott Sloan has been one of the leaders of that effort.
