    AGCO expands manufacturing with new assembly for all MF, Challenger tractors

    All wheeled Massey Ferguson and all Challenger tractors for North America are now being assembled at the Jackson, Minn., AGCO manufacturing facility. Prior to this, many tractor models were assembled in Beauvais, France. AGCO hired 200 new employees for the expansion project, according to Jay Mulso, manager of the AGCO visitor center.     One tough ride 1

    A little over a week ago, Team FIN tractor- and truck-tester Daryl Bridenbaugh got hurt while doing something he loved: driving his John Deere 4020 tractor. We got the news while editing one of his stories about the new Ram trucks recently previewed at the New York International Auto Show. His wife, Peggy, told us that earlier in the evening Daryl was driving down a hill pulling a full nitrogen applicator when suddenly the rig tipped over, pinning him under the tractor. ...More

    Ride in Kubota's most powerful new tractor in Grand-X series 19

    Kubota Tractor Corporation, headquartered in Torrance, Calif., recently announced the release of a new line of M-Series tractors, including the M100GX, M110GX, M126GX and the M135GX. Farm Industry News editor Kathy Huting took a ride in the largest and most powerful of the models, the M135GX, with Paul Williams, product manager for Kubota, on May 15.
