    Farm equipment sales up in November

    U.S. retail sales of tractors and combines were higher in November compared to last year at this time, according to a report released today by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. Combines saw the biggest jump, up 25.5% over October’s numbers with 644 units sold. Year to date, a total of 9,487 combines have been sold, an increase of 6.8% from a year ago. The November report showed tractor sales were up by 9.8% year to date, with 183,846 units sold, and up 5.6% for November, with tractors under 40 hp showing the biggest gains....More
