    Producers will have 8 new drought-tolerant hybrids available across five genetic platforms from Pioneer for 2011.     Syngenta takes reins of Greenleaf

    The joint ownership of Greenleaf Genetics between Syngenta and Pioneer is no more. The companies announced this week that the venture has been dissolved and Syngenta has assumed full ownership of Greenleaf Genetics. Syngenta launched GreenLeaf Genetics in 2004 and it became a joint venture with Pioneer in April 2006. It will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Syngenta Seeds. The move will allow both companies to pursue independent licensing strategies for each company’s proprietary corn and soybean genetics as well as biotechnology traits....More
