The new ZoneAlarm secure wireless router Z100G packages wired and wireless computer networking capabilities with sophisticated hardware- and software-based protection against Internet hackers and computer viruses. In addition to providing four Ethernet ports, the device supports wireless networking at speeds up to 108 megabits/second and is compatible with older, slower wireless networking standards.

The manufacturer claims the Z100G provides an indoor wireless coverage of up to 984 ft. and an outdoor range of more than half a mile. The device integrates a hardware-based firewall, software-based intrusion and antivirus prevention, and controls to help protect against inappropriate content.
