TEEJET SPRAY Products, a division brand of Spraying Systems Company, introduces a wider range of spray nozzles and tips for targeted pesticide application.

Mid-range size. First, the company has added a mid-range-capacity violet tip to its Turbo TeeJet wide-angle flat spray tip product line. The new ’025 capacity (.25 gpm at 40 psi/tip) is sized between the ’02 and ’03 capacities so the operator can better control flow rate without having to vary spray pressure. The company says it is ideal for fungicide spraying when used with the QJ90 dual outlet adapter to produce two-angled spray patterns for better canopy penetration and leaf coverage and a total flow of 0.5 gpm at 40 psi. Suggested list price: $5.58.

Bigger droplet flat tips. The Turbo TeeJet Induction (TTI) flat spray tips are made to minimize drift during the application of preemergence surface-applied herbicides, postemergence systemic herbicides and systemic fungicides. The nozzle’s design eliminates the smaller droplets in the spectrum and produces large air-filled droplets without compromising distribution, the company claims. The nozzle is sized for compatibility with a wide range of caps and tip strainers. Suggested list price: $6.15.

Duo spray nozzle. Spraying Systems says that a dual flat spray pattern helps its new Turbo TeeJet Duo (TT Duo) nozzle penetrate the crop canopy, leading to better coverage and greater drift control. The TT Duo is designed for contact postemergence herbicides, insecticides and fungicides, and for systemic postemergence herbicides and fungicides. The operating pressure range is 15 to 90 psi. Depending on tip configuration, a 60°, 90° or 120° included angle can be used between spray patterns. Additional TT Duo features include nylon construction of bodies and caps, and acetal tips for chemical resistance and extended life. Suggested list price: $16.63.

Bigger droplet twin tip. The new Turbo TwinJet (TTJ) spray tip is designed to produce larger droplets than those produced by the standard TwinJet for better leaf coverage and canopy penetration to fight Asian rust. A dual outlet orifice design creates two spray patterns instead of one to produce identical front and back flat spray patterns with a 60° included spray angle between them to optimize spray coverage. The TTJ can be used to apply fungicides, insecticides and preemergence or postemergence contact herbicides. It is made of durable plastic instead of stainless steel to provide better wear and corrosion resistance at a cheaper price. Suggested list price: $6.69.

Boomless nozzle. Finally, the new XP BoomJet “boomless” nozzle is designed to let the sprayer operator get close to fencerows, tree lines and other obstacles when applying fertilizer and pesticides without the risk of collision. It can be installed at the end of the boom or used without a boom for lateral spray coverage up to 18.5 ft. The XP BoomJet is available in a wide range of capacities with an operating pressure range of 20 to 60 psi. All capacities contain NPT or BSPT male inlet thread connections. Suggested list price: $42.82 (polymer version) $67.32 (stainless steel version).
