A new smartphone sprayer app from TeeJet Technologies will help growers select correct spray tips for different applications. The SpraySelect mobile app is available free for Apple and android devices.

On the app, growers enter the speed, tip spacing and target rate for spraying and then select the droplet size category. A list of recommended tips is generated. For liquid fertilizer application, specific gravity inputs are included.

“The large number of spray tip choices available today can be a bit overwhelming,” reports Tim Stuenkel, TeJet marketing communications. “With the increasing number of crop protection products available and greater number of applications being made, proper tip selection and droplet size management is more important than ever.
