Balzer, Inc. of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, is the leading manufacturer and distributor of livestock manure and municipal waste handling products in the United States.

The company also manufactures and markets flail shredders for cotton, corn, and rice applications and the 1000, 1250, and 1500 bushel grain carts with the patented steerable axle system.

The company was founded in the late 1940s by Abe Balzer in Mountain Lake and operated on a regional basis manufacturing a variety of farm equipment products. Balzer was purchased in 1976 by a group of investors from nearby Mankato, Minnesota. In 1995, Balzer was sold to management employees with a total of over 60 years experience in the industry.
