Compact Wire Welders

Feb 15, 2007 12:00 PM

Lincoln Electric introduces four new compact wire welders. There are two versions for each of two new models: The 140T and 180T are used for basic welding jobs, and the 140C and 180C are used for tougher, more precise welding. The 140 series features 120v of power for operation, and the 180 series uses continuous voltage control at 230v of power.

Lincoln says the welders' Diamond Core Technology aids arc performance for MIG welding on thin gauge steel, stainless and aluminum. An industrial cast aluminum drive provides precise wire alignment for improved wire feeding. A split wire guide provides a full wire path support with controlled wire alignment and no-tool service access for quick changeovers.

An optional spool gun, the Magnum 100SG, adds precise wire feeding for soft aluminum wire and does not require a power module.

Retail prices: 140T, $672; 180T, $824; 140C, $735; and 180C, $900. Contact Lincoln Electric, c/o Ultimate Lead Systems Inc., Dept. FIN, Box 739, Berea, OH 44017, 888/355-3213, visit www.lincolnelectric.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 179.
