TIME-SHIFTER

Feb 1, 2005 12:00 PM

Radio with computer recording skills.

THE RADIOSHARK from Griffin Technology is a desktop AM-FM radio that allows users to listen to their favorite AM or FM radio broadcasts and record them on a computer. The recording function allows programs to be played back later or to be “paused” while listening to live radio. This allows the listener to return to where he or she left off minutes, or even hours, later (so-called time-shifting). All radio tuning and recording is through the computer, which powers the device through its USB connection. Favorite stations can be set with the click of a mouse, and new stations can be scanned and tuned with ease.

The radioShark sells for $69.99. Contact Griffin Technology Inc., Dept. FIN, 1619C Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37210, 615/399-7000, visit www.griffintechnology.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 198.
