Zippin' Revolution ??? No need to drill a starter hole when cutting with a new spiral saw from RotoZip; it uses a high-speed revolving bit instead of a jagged-tooth blade to cut almost any shape you can imagine.
A computer program is the brain of the Revolution. It responds to tiny, magnetic sensors embedded in the body of the saw, which speed it up or slow it down based on the control of the user and the friction of the blade. It saws through most 1-in.-thick materials with a 41/2-amp electric motor. The Zip-Mate, a quick-attach gear head, converts the tool into a right-angle grinder, disc sander or a saw for cutting metal, masonry, ceramic and stone. Suggested retail price: $199 for a combo kit.
