PORTABLE SAWING

BOSCH DESIGNS EASY-TO-USE SAW STAND

A NEW TABLE from Bosch will make a portable table saw truly portable. The Gravity-Rise table saw stand folds up easily and rolls where needed. It requires just one simple turn of a lever to lower into a horizontal working position. The table opens and closes in one step by using gravity's effect on the weight of the tool and stand. The portable saw never needs to be removed from the stand. The Gravity-Rise is constructed of heavy gauge steel for durability. Most manufacturers' portable table saws will fit on the Bosch table.

The price of the TX2000 Gravity-Rise stand is $149. The Gravity-Rise stand with a Bosch 4000 table saw is $549. Call Bosch Power Tools at 877/267-2499, visit www.boschtools.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 197.

HYDRAULIC FLUID

CENEX QWIKLIFT FLUID REDUCES WEAR

HYDRAULIC PUMPS should be drained and maintained at least once a year. If there is a lot of yellow metal in the used oil, it could be a sign of excessive wear. Cenex Qwiklift HTB with Wear Saver technology is a premium hydraulic fluid designed to reduce wear and increase hydraulic system life.

Cenex cites a recent 400-hr. test that used copper levels in used fluid as a measure of performance. The Qwiklift HTB-protected pump had just 25 ppm of copper in the used oil. The pump containing the OEM brand fluid failed after 383 hrs. of use and had 100 ppm of copper in the used oil.
