The Dino-Lite AM413T handheld digital microscope magnifies images up to 330 times. Magnified images, which can be viewed on a computer or television screen, can be captured as photos or videos on a computer with an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera. The plastic-shelled device is 4 in. long, 1.25 in. in diameter and weighs about 3 oz. and has eight light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to illuminate subjects. The microscope is connected to a computer via a 6-ft. USB 2.0 cable. It is bundled with software for various photo, video or time-lapse options, as well as e-mail functions to allow the user to send images. Options include mobile and articulating desktop stands.
