Online machinery sales Forthefarm.com and MachineryLink.com have agreed to work together to expand their machinery classified ad listings to make both Web sites dominant locations for equipment exchange. Forthefarm.com also expands its seed sales activities by including offerings from Fielder's Choice Direct and Fontanelle Seeds.

Cofounder Norman Borlaug's Internet-based lifelong learning company for agriculture and the food system will offer certified courses, noncredit courses, credit courses, learning modules, Web seminars and just-in-time problem-solving resources. Faculty and individuals at universities and companies will provide content. Tuition costs will vary according to the nature and complexity of the program. Major funding for this launch is provided by DuPont Crop Protection.
