Upgradable GPS

Jun 30, 2009 1:54 PM, By David Hest

mojoglide gps

Leica Geosystem’s new mojoGlide technology provides dual-frequency positioning capability with 6- to 8-in. pass-to-pass accuracy without the need for an annual subscription for a correction signal. The mojoGlide console includes the company’s patented nine-axis terrain compensation technology as well as all the components needed to upgrade to real-time kinematic (RTK) accuracy. MojoGlide capabilities also can be added to existing mojoRTK consoles to allow users to operate without RTK during field preparation, spraying and other fieldwork requiring less accuracy.

The mojoGlide console has a suggested retail price of $7,990. The unlock code to upgrade to RTK lists for $2,000. Adding Glide software to an existing mojoRTK console costs $1,000. For more information, call 877/800-6656.
