ATV Tires

Dec 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Drive your ATV through the harshest conditions without worrying about your tires with Dunlop's new Quadmax ATV tires. The tires are constructed with two tough nylon plies laid at a rigid case angle to maintain a low, flat profile while cornering. Dunlop says the new design provides both excellent traction and superior handling in all conditions, including mud.

The company has reduced the tire's weight: The front Quadmax is nearly 2 lbs. lighter than comparable tires and the rear tires are nearly 5 lbs. lighter. Dunlop says the reduced weight lowers the energy needed to accelerate, brake and turn.

Dunlop also developed Quadmax Sport for ATV sport and racing enthusiasts. The Quadmax Sport uses radial construction, which allows the front and rear tires to work together. According to the company, the front tire has a unique double-center rib design, which provides excellent traction, and the rear tire features an asymmetrical design.
