Guidance system

Sep 1, 2007 12:00 PM

A new guidance system from Ag Leader Technology displays real-time coverage maps of your field and supports multiple guidance patterns. The EZ-Guide 500 features an easy-to-read, 7-in., lighted color display screen with built-in lightbar. The unit records field data that can be transferred to a computer via a USB flash drive. Two versions of the EZ-Guide 500 are available: one uses a Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) signal providing 6- to 8-in. pass accuracy, and the other version uses the OmniStar HP/XP subscription service for 2- to 4-in. or 3- to 5-in. accuracy. The product works with Ag Leader's EZ-Steer assisted steering system. Later this year it also will support the EZ-Boom control system for rate and boom section control.

Suggested retail prices are $2,995 for the WAAS version, and $5,995 for the OmniStar XP/HP version. Contact Ag Leader Technology, Dept. FIN, 2202 S. Riverside Dr., Ames, IA 50010, 515/232-5363, visit www.agleader.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 150.
