NEW-GENERATION SOFTWARE

Nov 1, 2005 12:00 PM

RED WING Software launches a new ag-specific financial software called CenterPoint. The new software goes beyond basic accounting to provide growers with information they can use to assess profitability and efficiency. Growers may structure and segment entire operations, profit centers, accounts and inventories to receive relevant and versatile reports. “Producers can learn more about their cost of production than ever before,” reports Ken Hilton, Red Wing president. “It empowers them to make smart business decisions and tighten up loose ends within their profit centers.”

CenterPoint is a double-entry accounting package with intuitive screens and a menu structure that follows standard Microsoft formats. It includes general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset and liability tracking and inventory management functions.

Price: $1,295. Contact Red Wing Software, Dept. FIN, 491 Hwy. 19, Red Wing, MN 55066, 800/732-9464, visit www.redwingsoftware.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 194.
