Market Call

Nov 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Commodity update launches what it claims is the first fully customizable cell phone delivery service for commodity markets. The service uses text messaging to deliver critical market data and other information to a user's cell phone no matter where he or she is.

Because it uses text messaging and is not Web-based, the service works on virtually any cell phone, the company says. Subscribers can elect to receive updates on markets they specify on a prescribed schedule or call a toll-free number to retrieve updates in a matter of seconds.

The cost for the service is $9.95/month; $49.95 for six months; or $99.95 for 12 months. For more information or a two-week free trial, contact Commodity Update, Dept. FIN, 120 Beattie St., Sterling, CO 80751, 866/376-6094, visit www.commodityupdate.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 181.
