Dec 1, 2006 12:03 PM

Financial management software CenterPoint now has a version 2.0 with updated reporting and data entry components. Developed by Red Wing Software, CenterPoint 2.0 offers ag-specific financial analysis tools to help you plan and budget. The software's budgeting features allow you to do “what-if” scenarios for cash flows, giving you a way to look at trends and understand the cost of production. It also allows you to set up templates to routinely manage multiple transactions from one data entry screen. The software is designed to help the producer understand profitability and costs related to each profit center.

Red Wing Software says that CenterPoint 2.0, which employs the newest Microsoft .NET technology, is versatile and easy to set up and use. CenterPoint 2.0 costs $1,295, which includes a customer care membership that offers automatic upgrades and a year of support.
