Farm Credit loan volume up

Farm Credit Services of America recently reported an 8% increase in loan volume for the first nine months of 2003 compared with the same period a year ago. Located in Omaha, NE, the ag lender reported the increase was $538 million. The company’s capital increased to $1.3 billion on September 30, 2003, compared with $1.2 billion a year earlier.
