Tier 4 engines

Tier 4 engines will make big news in the next six years as agricultural equipment engineers struggle to find cost-effective ways to handle the final and most stringent EPA exhaust regulations for off-highway diesel engines. The Tier 4 rules require treatment of a vehicle's exhaust gas, which adds more components and cost to the machinery. FarmTrac in receivership

We have grain bins from Long Manufacturing that had manufacturing plants in Tarboro, NC, and Davenport, IA. Is there anywhere we can find parts?

Long Agribusiness sold its plant in Davenport, IA, in the mid-1980s. In 1998, Escorts Group of Faridabad, India, purchased Long Agribusiness and changed its name to FarmTrac.

FarmTrac closed its doors on January 18 of this year, and the company is now in receivership.

Individual dealers may have some parts for FarmTrac tractors. According to The Daily Southerner, there are nearly 300 FarmTrac dealerships across the U.S. and Canada.

It appears that FarmTrac is no longer maintaining a Web site.
