Wireless monitoring

Aug 27, 2007 4:46 PM

Farm operators can now remotely monitor barns, storage areas and other facilities using wireless sensor technology. The new Sensaphone 2800 has eight external inputs, including four wireless sensors, to monitor temperature, humidity, power and other conditions without the installation of complicated wiring. The wireless sensors have a range of up to 300 ft. An added repeater can extend the distance up to one mile. The plug-and-play system provides alarms and status updates via telephone and custom voice messages. There are no monthly fees.

The suggested retail price for the base unit is $1,195. For more information, call 877/373-2700 or visit www.sensaphone.com.
