Aluminum welder kit

Although aluminum is becoming more common in many products, it is still tough to weld. Wire Propellant Systems has developed a kit for a standard wire feed MIG welder that effectively welds aluminum. The kit installs in 15 min. on a wire feed welder and produces high-quality aluminum welds. The system eliminates excessive burn backs into the contact tip and nested wire in the drive rollers.

A kit is available for 220v welders, as well as the 120v models. Price: $195. Contact Wire Propellant Systems at 906/475-7854, visit www.wirepropellant.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin.

A hand knob adjusts to the desired open position, and a short, horizontal movement of the locking lever clamps or releases the part, providing one-hand operation. The hollow base allows for clear-through drilling. List price: $221. Contact Heinrich Co., Dept. FIN, 2707 S.
