PREMIUM ON LOW-LIN BEANS

BUNGE has agreed to pay up to a $0.40/bu. premium for Pioneer Hi-Bred's low linolenic soybeans. The Bunge DuPont Biotech Alliance program expects to contract more than 200,000 acres of low-linolenic soybeans for 2006 in Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Missouri. The alliance will market Nutrium Low Linolenic Soybean Oil, which is made from the low-linolenic soybeans, to food companies.
