The drought has hampered seed corn production and most supplies will be tight. Mycogen Seeds prepared for adverse weather events by spreading out production, according to Eric Sitzman, corn product manager. Mycogen with Dow AgroSciences expects to meet most of its 2013 customer needs.
I hope there will be no shortage of corn in the future. Did you know that corn is high in fiber. And aside from that, it can be included as an ingredient in hot/cold snugglers that are good for your body.

We really have to be optimistic this year. But it takes two to tango. People concerned or involved in the corn production should do their part in making sure that there will be no corn shortage.George
I think what we need now is to trust the government, be optimistic, and do our part. We may experience drought but if we will help each other and cooperate, then we can definitely overcome this issue. Mike
