ISOBUS for tractors, implements
Tractors and implements are moving to a universal language called ISOBUS that lets equipment from different companies easily communicate through a universal plug. Jason Hoult, product manager for AGCO's Challenger, explains how more tractors like the Challenger MT800C are becoming ISOBUS compliant.

ATV Rodeo results
See how seven new ATVs performed in the 2008 Farm Industry News ATV Rodeo. Team FIN farmers put the ATVs through a test course on a Minnesota gun club with plenty of hills, creeks, trees and open fields. Then they rated each vehicle for hauling and pulling ability, maneuverability, ease of maintenance and comfort. New seed treatment, traits
A visit to the Monsanto exhibit with test plots at the Farm Progress Show revealed the company is offering its own seed treatment called Acceleron next year. The company also displays its latest trait technology including a trait for soybean aphid resistance, one for dicamba resistance and the eight-trait stack called SmartStax.
