High-capacity equipment

GrainWay's DriveOver Pit unloads 100 to 10,000 bu./hr. using a continuous Chevron rubber belt with a common alligator splice. The compact unit needs a clearance of only 40 in. from the top of the pit to the bottom of the conveyor. Prices start at $10,956. Circle 101.

The GrainWay flat conveyor can move just a few bushels per hour to more than 10,000 bu./hr. It can be used under aeration floors of multiple grain bins, hopper bottom bins, drive-over pits and other applications. It works under aeration floors with a height minimum of 11¼ in. It comes in portable and stationary units.

Sizes can be matched to need. The 12-in.-wide conveyor unloads 5,000 bu./hr., the 18-in.-wide conveyor unloads more than 7,500 bu./hr., and the 24-in.-wide conveyor unloads more than 10,000 bu./hr. Prices start at $3,498. Circle 102.

16-in.-dia. auger

The 16104 Backsaver auger from Buhler Farm King has a 16-in. diameter and 104-ft. tube and is capable of moving grain at a rate of up to 20,000 bu./hr. It comes fully loaded with a standard hydraulic power mover, hydraulic wench and light package. The 16104 includes a swing-away auger with self-leveling hopper and can be raised to a maximum height of 77 ft. It requires a minimum 175 PTO hp.

Grain dryer controls

GSI's new Vision Dryer Control system controls all dryer functions from one remote location up to 1,000 ft. away. The unit features a large, easy-to-read color monitor with simple touch-screen controls. Plenum and grain temperatures can be viewed and modified on screen.

The system includes both temperature- and moisture-based controls. A burner mode allows the system to switch from high/low to on/off fire settings. All shutdowns are logged with date and time.

Ultra fast

Sudenga also introduces the 20,000 bu./hr. Ultra Scoop, a tractor-mounted flat pile loader that can fill most semitrailers in just 3 min. Operating with a 150-hp or larger tractor, the Ultra Scoop's heavy-duty, 16-in.-dia. × 16-ft.-long horizontal feeder auger ensures maximum fill rate for the conveyor. List price is $78,000. Unloader, grain tower

Brock says its Harvest-Time 10-in. U-Trough auger and power sweep unloading system has a capacity of up to 7,800 bu. of corn an hour. It is available for 36- to 60-ft.-dia. bins. List price on a 48-ft., 10-in. U-Trough with power head and sweep auger is $7,179. Circle 107.

Brock also introduces a continuous-flow Commercial Tower grain dryer with capacities from 3,000 to 7,000 bu./hr. It has a narrower width column at the top to help increase airflow on the wettest grain to start the drying sooner. Circle 108.
