Preplant corn herbicide

Mar 1, 2009 12:00 PM

Corn Producers have gained some flexibility in their preplant herbicide program. Valor Herbicide, from Valent U.S.A. Corporation, is now labeled for use 14 days prior to planting in no-till or minimum-till corn.

“Valor's residual control gives corn producers six to eight weeks of solid control of tough broadleaf weeds and competitive grass control,” says Jamie Nielson, Valor brand manager. “And Valor is very effective on tough broadleaf weeds, including common ragweed, lambsquarters and waterhemp.”
