The seed treatment market continues to grow for both corn and soybeans, according to Mark Jirak, crop manager for Syngenta Seed Care. Seed treatments for corn include more fungicides, insecticides and now nematicides. Treating soybeans also has become more popular, with 65% of the seed now treated.

Jirak gives an overview of the seed treatment market and future products in an interview during the Syngenta Seedcare Plot Tour held recently at Slater, IA.
