Ward off soybean fungi

A new fungicidal coating for soybeans helps the plants ward off several diseases during emergence.

As soybeans are planted earlier with no-till or reduced-till methods, they become more susceptible to soilborne fungi. According to Novartis, its Apron XL + Maxim seed treatment will help protect the plants from soilborne pathogens.

It retails for an additional $2.50/unit. Contact Novartis, Dept. FIN, Box 959, Minneapolis, MN 55440, 612/593-7333.
