Valley Irrigation, a major precision irrigation company, will be featured on FOX Business News in an upcoming segment of The Green Room. The segment, titled "Industry Leaders Pioneering the Future of Sustainable Agriculture," will be hosted by former NBC News correspondent John Holden. It's scheduled to air on April 20, 2013, at 5:30 PM (ET).

Valley Irrigation, a division of Valmont Industries, has designed and manufactured center pivot and linear irrigation equipment for agriculture for nearly 60 years. The company offers a range of irrigation equipment to meet the demanding needs of precision agriculture.

In the April 20 segment of The Green Room, Holden will take viewers to one of North America’s largest carrot producers to learn first-hand how Valley center pivots are helping their operation.

“More and more pressure is being placed on water, one of the world’s most scarce natural resources,” said Len Adams, Valley Irrigation president. “We have made a commitment to manufacture irrigation equipment that helps growers be more productive, while also conserving water.”

Valley center pivots provide precise water, chemical, and fertilizer applications that can result in improved crop yields, reduced labor costs, more efficient energy consumption, water conservation, and reduced runoff.
