John Deere's FarmSight enables wireless engine monitoring, control

During the next year, John Deere will roll out products in its new FarmSight suite of technologies, according to Jerry Roell, Intellligent Solutions Group. The new products will help farmers remotely monitor vehicle functions through telematics. It will allow machine-to-machine communications so a combine can take control of a tractor for efficient on-the-go grain unloading. Plus, it will enble an operator to see from a mobile device or home computer what is on a tractor or vehicle display.
