John Deere Agri Services has added a new GIS precision analysis option to its AgroGuide agronomy management software package. The new capability allows agricultural retailers using the system to create and export variable-rate prescriptions for their customers using precision ag devices such as John Deere GreenStar systems. The option also allows importation of geo-referenced soil sample results and as-applied and harvest data for analysis and creation of complete field histories. This will improve accuracy of prescription recommendations and allow more efficient information storage and access.
