Family Living Center — A unique shopping experience

The Family Living Center at the National Farm Machinery Show offers unique gifts, antiques, collectibles, clothing, home accessories, and more.

A trip to the National Farm Machinery Show is not complete without a visit to the Family Living Center, located in the East Hall. The Family Living Center offers unique gifts, antiques, collectibles, clothing and home accessories. Visitors can look through a variety of interesting items showcased in more than 80 booths.

The Family Living Center is set aside from the main exhibit area to provide visitors with a casual shopping atmosphere. Visitors from around the world come to visit the nation’s largest indoor farm show and enjoy the change of pace that the Family Living Center offers. Exhibitors travel great distances from throughout the United States to offer unique shopping experiences. The friendly atmosphere the show offers means exhibitors and attendees often find themselves coming back year after year. The show’s stellar reputation means there is a waiting list of exhibitors hoping for a chance to join the NFMS Family Living Center “family.”

Bill Powers, owner of the Wisconsin Gourmet Sausage Company, says he was on the waiting list for five years before securing a spot as a Family Living Center exhibitor. Since he secured his place 12 years ago, he has continued to make the trek from Fort Atkinson, Wis., to man his booth. “The people who organize the show are really nice and do a great job,” he says. “I exhibit at more than 100 shows each year and the Family Living Center at the National Farm Machinery Show is one of my top 10 shows. It’s really interesting to meet people coming to the show from all over the world. I have made great friends among both people coming to the show and with the other exhibitors.”

The Family Living Center is located in the East Hall at the National Farm Machinery Show during the show’s run from Feb. 15 through 18, 2012. Visit the Family Living Center booths from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. See a list of Family Living Center exhibitors at www.farmmachineryshow.org/familylivingcenter.aspx.

What an interesting idea! I can see now why the retailers waiting in line for years to get a spot here. I read an article about it on Cleveland classifieds as far as I understood they want to open a new place like this in the area.

It sounds like an great place to visit in a weekend. I you got my attention and now it's also perfect timing for us. As farmers we're about to take our engagement to the land for the next year, what better way to start it than with a shopping spree?

The place indeed has a great collection of products for the consumers. But online shopping outlets are more fun to shop from, these outlets have the most affordable products and wide collection, if you are looking for the right type of bag go for an online outlet.
