The Unverferth Zone Builder 120 shatters hardpan 26 in. deep while creating minimal surface soil disturbance. A heavy-duty, 6-in. coil spring with a 4- x 6-in. pull arm keeps the shank stable, even in extremely tight soils. Zone Builder models are available in 2- to 12-shank configurations. The new 6-shank 120 model sells for $10,075. A 2-shank model is $4,020.
