Miller Spray-Air air boom for Nitro 4000 Series sprayers

St. Nazianz, Wis. - Miller St. Nazianz, Inc. (Miller), is pleased to announce the introduction of the Miller exclusive Spray-Air™ air boom technology on the Nitro 4000 Series sprayers, as well as a 4 wheel steer option.

Promoting precise droplet control and dense canopy penetration, Spray-Air technology offers growers and applicators unsurpassed coverage and control in an efficient and easy to use boom system. Available on all Nitro 4000 Series sprayers with a minimum of 275 horsepower, the Spray-Air truss boom comes in a dual fan configuration in widths of 90, 100, and 120 feet wide. The 120 foot width is only available on the 4275 and up chassis, and is ideally suited to the 365 horsepower Nitro 4365.

While the Spray-Air boom is ideal in all types of applications, from broad acre dry land farming to corn and soybeans, it also offers superior control in specialty crop vegetable applications. As many specialty crop fields have minimal headlands, Miller’s new 4 wheel steer option enhances our already industry-leading tight turning radius. The Nitro 4215HT and 4240HT sprayers at 13.5’ turning radius, and the Nitro 4275 to 4365 sprayers at 15’ turning radius will now have the ability to be ordered as 4 wheel steer models. The 4 wheel steer maintains the original tight turning radius, while ensuring the front and rear wheels track together to easily line up to enter rows, and to minimize crop trampling at headlands. There is also a crab-steer function as well, to assist in side-hill situations.

These model options are available for the 2012 model year. For more information, please contact your local Miller dealer, call 800/247-5557, or visit www.millerstn.com.
