MCCORMICK LEAVES VERMEER

MCCORMICK International USA will move from the Vermeer Manufacturing facilities in Pella, IA, to Landini USA facilities in Lawrenceville, GA. Argo SpA of San Martino in Rio, Italy, recently announced the change in location. Argo SpA owns both the McCormick and Landini brands. The company reports the reorganization with both brands in one office is designed “to more efficiently and effectively continue their rapid U.S. growth by taking advantage of common dealer and customer support functions at a new, shared office with training and parts warehouse facility in the Atlanta, GA, area.”

The U.S. McCormick operations were originally aligned with Vermeer in 2002 when the first tractors were sold in the U.S. Sales and parts operations for McCormick were housed in the Vermeer facilities, and some Vermeer dealers sold the new tractor line.
