High Definition

Mar 1, 2007 12:00 PM

Four new Handycam high-definition camcorders from Sony promise high resolution and better color to match the display capabilities of high-definition televisions. These high-end models record video at resolutions of 2 or 3 megapixels and can capture still photos at resolutions twice as fine. The Carl Zeiss 10X optimal zoom lenses include image stabilization technology to assure blur-free results, which can be viewed on a swiveling LCD screen. Depending on the model, images are recorded directly on DVDs or mini DV tapes.

Suggested retail prices for the HDR-HC5/7 and HDR-UX5/7 models are from $1,100 to $1,400. For more information, call 877/865-7669, visit www.sonystyle.com or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 151.
