RANCH HAND TRACTORS

You had an inquiry about Ranch Hand tractors in one of your past issues. Here is a copy of their brochure.

They made less than 10 of the item and have been out of business for some time.

A contact person if you have questions is Clayton Taylor, Taylor Fuel Systems, 423 S. Cedar St., Stockton, KS 67669, 785/425-6789.

I enjoy this page in your magazine and usually read it first.

THORSEN CORRECTION

Information about where to find Thorsen Tools, published in our February issue, was incorrect. Several years ago, Woods Industries sold Thorsen Tools to Olympia Tools. Olympia went out of business this past winter. As far as officials at Woods know, no company sells Thorsen Tools today. Woods Industries, which manufactures electrical cords, now is located at 5541 W. 74th St., Indianapolis, IN 46268, 317/844-7261.

NEW IDEA CORRECTION

A reader in our Mid-February issue asked where he could find parts for New Idea equipment. New Idea manure spreaders, round balers, disc mowers and other products are currently sold and supported through AGCO. For New Idea parts support, contact AGCO Parts Division in Batavia, IL, at 630/879-3300.
