Automatic Setup

Mar 1, 2007 12:00 PM

A new wire welder from Miller Electric sets the welding parameters automatically, guaranteeing proper machine operation. With the Millermatic 140 with Auto-Set, which replaces the Millermatic 135, the operator sets the wire diameter and material thickness, and the Auto-Set automatically sets wire feed speed and voltage. A chart and manual mode also are included, and a material thickness guide is provided.

The Millermatic 140 has Smooth-Start technology, providing an even start-up while eliminating splatters. The Auto-Set feature works with C25 gas and either .024 or .030 solid wire. The welder runs on 115v while welding up to 3/16 in. in a single pass.

The Millermatic 140 is $789 with Auto-Set and $770 without Auto-Set. Contact Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Dept. FIN, Box 1079, Appleton, WI 54912, 800/426-4553, visit www.millerwelds.com, or www.freeproductinfo.net/fin, or circle 158.
