Bayer Cropscience and Monsanto announced a licensing agreement that allows Monsanto to use the LibertyLink herbicide-tolerance technology in its corn and soybeans. Now Monsanto may market corn and soybean seeds with Roundup Ready technology and the LibertyLink technology.

The agreement covers other sharing rights, including those related to herbicide tolerance. The two also agreed to cross-license their technology used to develop new seed traits.
