Keep the lid on

By permanently attaching a housing lid to its new fuel filter, Baldwin Filters has made changing diesel fuel filters easier, cleaner and more efficient.

The new PF7678 -- now for 7.3 L Ford Powerstroke engines -- features a housing lid design that is attached right to the filter element. Its T-Seal ensures that the housing gasket is positioned during installation for a leakproof seal. During removal, the lid keeps all diesel fuel residue inside the filter element -- nothing spills onto your hands. The top of the lid has tabs for removal by hand and a 15/16 -in. hex head if a hand tool is needed for loosening. Also, if the fuel filter lid on the OEM engine becomes damaged or broken, replacement is unneccesary. Contact Baldwin Filters, Dept.
